A few weeks ago I had a blast presenting The Puzzling Mind of Stephen Sondheim for the NYU Steinhardt School Alumni Association.

I had many highlights, such as friends and family in attendance, meeting some of I only know from my social media feed… and interviewing and meeting in person for the first time Brigid Walsh.

Brigid is in my book where she recounts collaborating with Sondheim on his largest ever treasure hunt, held for 300 people at the American Museum of Natural History in 2011. She was a surprise guest and will “surprise” us again in December when I speak at MCNY. Hope to see you there!
