Keith Williams penned this lovely review of my book (available below as a full PDF, thanks to Keith) for The Crossword Club.
The Club was founded in 1978 and publishes challenging cryptic and barred crosswords. Keith took over as sole editor in 2025 from founder Brian Head, who retired then unexpectedly passed away.
It was particularly meaningful for me to see such loving attention given to my book in the pages of The Crossword Club as Sondheim was long-time subscriber to the publication. When he passed away, Sondheim’s puzzle periodicals included issues from 1995 through 2017, all organized and boxed.
