Drama Book Shop: “An incredible book… so popular we can’t keep it on our shelves.”

Earlier this fall I began my love-fest with the Drama Book Shop, especially with Marc Eugene-Garcia and David Rigano. They provided me ample space to host a pop-up exhibit with rare artifacts from my research, provided hundreds of free Matching Mind-branded bookmarks to customers, and included a copy of Minds at the end of the Book Work sculpture. And we kicked it all off with an interview conducted by my friend, playwright, and Sondheim collector Michael Mitnick (re-counted here). It was a really fun evening and I have been looking forward all fall to their release of it on their podcast series, which dropped today. It was not only a delighted to revisit the evening but hear, for the first time, how Marc and David sandwiched the interview between their own gushing about the book. In the previous epsiode Marc teed-up mine by saying “It’s an incredible book” and in this one say “It’s so popular we can’t keep it on our shelves.” That’s a man who knows the way to this author’s heart!

Enjoy revisiting that fun evening.
